The meniscus surgery uses modern options to preserve the meniscus. Smaller cracks of the meniscus can be stabilized with the knee physiotherapy. Larger cracks and particularly unstable feeling and tears blocking with knee irritation require an arthroscopic partial removal of meniscal tissue. For fresh meniscal tears of the meniscus, the meniscus is reattached.

In meniscal loss or even after previous surgery on the meniscus a menicusmatrix offers treatment options.

• Arthroscopic meniscus smoothing / partial resection with already damaged cracks

• Arthroscopic meniscal repair with fresh meniscal tears at the base / ( )

• Arthroscopic meniscus meniscus replacement with implants in certain cases / CMI ( ) or Actifit ( )
