Cartilage damage is often very painful and a typical injury in sports, they can for years to joint degeneration (arthritis) lead. Cartilage injuries are treated individually according to the patient’s size, load profile and static axis. The successful cartilage therapy remains remains difficult despite of many developments . • Microfracturierung as fibrocartilage stimulation of small articular surface defects

 

• larger cartilage defects treated with autologous cultured chondrocytes is  ( ACT / www.codon.de )
